In accordance with the new Government guidelines on data usage and storage - The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - I require your consent to hold and process information about you.
I collect, store and process information about you to enable me to run my Psychotherapy practice and to provide an ethical service to you. This information can include your address and contact details as well as other personal information. I collect this information under Legitimate Interests for the purposes of healthcare, as per GDPR regulations.
All information that i collect about you is anonymised, stored behind lock and key and/or password protected. I will keep this information for up to 5 years of our last session, in accordance with my insurers Terms and Conditions, at which point it is securely deleted.
I use this information t track the progress of our work together and for reflection and guidance in supervision. In the event of anything happening to me during this time your contact details will be passed on to my appointed Therapeutic Executor so that you are informed i am unable to contact you directly myself.
